Bigg Boss keeps getting bigger. Sources have now revealed the names of famous celebs as the possible contestants for Season 3. Celebs being approached include Sherlyn Chopra. If that happens, viewers will finally get to see Sherlyn in the Bigg Boss house after missing the opportunity last year. Sherlyn was approached by the channel after Jade Goody had pulled out. It is said that the actress had demanded a whopping Rs 3 cr for a 3 months stay and the agreement fizzled out.
The channel’s hunt for celebs who can boost TRPs and make them earn big bucks has made them consider German supermodel-turned-actress Claudia Ciesla, who is considering a Bollywood career. More than her acting skills the babe was in news as the reason behind the alleged breakup between Salman and Katrina, as Katrina was quite upset over how much interest Salman showed in his ’special friend’ as he referred to Claudia.
It is reported that the producers had approached the famous yogi Baba Ramdev to join the show. He was sportive enough to accept the offer but placed conditions which proved rather heavy. He finally opted out because the discipline at the Bigg House didn’t match with his regimen. Says the CEO of Colors, “It didn’t work out with Baba Ramdev.” Was it because of his strict Yogi’s regimen? Says Kamat, “We were ready to let him get up at 3 am in the morning and do his yoga if he wanted.”

Another name doing the rounds was of politician and the Gandhi scion Varun Gandhi. However, Varun has rubbished reports that he was planning to enter the reality show. He termed the media reports linking him with a television reality show as an attempt to misuse his name to garner publicity for the show. In a public statement Varun Gandhi denied that he was joining Bigg Boss 3 and said he had nothing to do with any reality show on any private channel.

And then there is Big B, not as a contestant but as a ‘pop psycologist’. Amitabh returns to the small screen in Season 3 of Bigg Boss, to play pop philosopher to those in the house. The Big B’s intention is to add ‘the human element’ to the show. “We need to analyse the minds of those on the show and reach out to as many people as possible through it. On eviction day, I will discuss the thought process of that particular contestant,” says Big B on his new avatar
